Alexander Diederich, Visual Artist 

Alexander Diederich combines carving with painting, linoleum with ink, and fire with wood. Using an experimental sculptural technique, he transforms wood boards and burls into conversations with nature.

As an arborist, Alexander sources his own wood and finds beauty in unexpected places. His carvings and paintings of landscapes are a tribute to his continuous  explorations climbing mountains and trees. Striving  to connect the viewer to the natural world, every piece is an attempt to capture the essence of the wild.
